Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a dress code?  Nope!  We’re pretty casual in our services.  You’ll see people dressed in a variety of styles, from jeans and shorts, to dresses and slacks.  We encourage everyone to wear what they are comfortable wearing.

What do you offer for children? We have a unique children’s ministry called Kingdom Kids that takes place following the music portion of our main service, at which all children 5th grade and under will be dismissed to go with children’s workers to have their high energy and exciting time together.  We also provide Nursery care during our services for infants and toddlers 0-24 months.

Is your church mostly elderly people?  Over 80% of our church is  under the age of 40, but we do value being a multi-generational church, and believe all ages have an important role!

How long does the service last?  While we value our time together, we usually dismiss by noon.  We don’t want to serve “fast food” church - you deserve better!

Will I have to do anything? No worries here!  We won’t single you out, or expect you to join anything.  We simply want to show you that normal, everyday people can truly experience an amazing and very real God!

Why do you sing songs?  We sing every week as a form of worship to God.   Our songs have different themes such as celebration (because of what God has done in our lives), love (because of our relationship with God), and desperation (because of our need for God).  Our church is known for its powerful times of worship and experiencing the presence of God.

Why do some people raise their hands during the songs? The Bible is full of examples of expressive worship such as raising hands, clapping, shouting, singing, dancing, and kneeling.  We encourage any form of worship that is found in the Bible!

What is the church’s child safety code of practice? Click Here.pdf for a downloadable pdf file of our amazing standards in working with children.

What exactly do you believe? We are considered a pentecostal, evangelical church, although - like most people we don’t like a single label to describe who we truly are.  Click here for our values and core beliefs.

Who are you affiliated with? We are a non-denominational church, though we have a great relationship with many pastors and churches in our city.  Our pastor is accountable to a group of pastors known as Ministers Fellowship International.  To find out more about MFI, click here.
